Ministry Update December 2019
…and at the command of the Lord they would camp. (Numbers 9:18)
Chi Miigwetch, (Big Thanks) goes out to you all. Without your faithful prayers, support and service at Smoky Trail Native Bible Camp this work of His wouldn’t be a reality. Shalom peace to you all, as we prepare to say goodbye to 2019 and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. The greatest gift of all, the Light of the world. We look back at the year with great rejoicing and thankfulness. We consider it a great privilege to be able to serve our great God with all of these wonderful children. Faith doesn’t make things easy; it makes things possible. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. We praise His name, thank Him for His promises and the gracious hope we have that with God all things are possible.
We ask you at this time that you would pray to God for His light to shine in the lives of the campers and their families. For God to continue to draw them near to Himself and to take away the spirit of doubt, suicide, addiction, worthlessness, hopelessness and to fill them with His Holy Spirit of love, joy, peace and hope.
From our home to yours, we sincerely pray for you to be richly blessed this Christmas season and into the New Year as we celebrate His birth and look forward to His promised return. All glory be to God.
In the bible Shalom is most commonly used to refer to a state of affairs, one of wellbeing, tranquility, prosperity and security, circumstances unblemished by any sort of defect. Shalom is a blessing, a manifestation of divine grace, derived from a root denoting wholeness and completeness. The absence of war and enmity, the absence of quarrel and strife. Shalom is a greeting and a farewell. It is complete peace, which can only come from the Prince of Peace.
Shalom peace to you all, today and forever!
